Mike's adventurous spirit is a perfect compliment to his love of classic winemaking skills, a combination that has won the praise of critics and the hearts of consumers.  His vision takes him on the road in search of the finest vineyards, from Mendocino to Monterey, from Sonoma to Santa Maria.  Mike's dedicated approach to winemaking results in complex wines that are consistently enticing - rich, bold and well-balanced - wines good enough to earn five Wine Spectator Top 100 awards in the last eight years!
